Always had a heart murmur & my new medicare Dr asked if I wanted to know why. At 67 & the 1st time a Dr ever asked me... I decided to say “yes”. We discovered I had a severe case of MV regurgitation. What a shock!! I couldn’t even say Shainy & open heart in the same sentence for weeks. Finally interviewed 2 cardiologists & 2 surgeons & saw it all. My chordae was torn & it needed to be repaired. I recently qualified for robotic... very grateful. Just told my company yesterday & now wanting to know what could make my world easier going into the hospital as in what PJ’s to wear & what could be at my home waiting for my recovery to be easier such as arm rest to sleep upward etc? Any input? I trust your experience,strength & hope!! please note: ROBOTIC... so no sternum recovery.🙏🏻
