I was diagnosed with bicuspid aortic valve on 2010. We had physical exam before entering college and when I got the result, the diagnosis was possible cardiomegaly. I was skeptic that time since I last 4 rounds in boxing. But after my first 2d echo, the sad news came out. Since then, I am having a regular check up with my cardio. But, last month I experienced frequent palpitations and after my confinement, the doctor said that my disease worsened and I will be needing a valve replacement. I am trying my best to relax and smile but still, fear and worry sometimes get me. But, I am encouraged with everyone's success' story. Will post mine after my surgery.
