I am a twenty six year old woman and was recently diagnosed with a congenital bicuspid aortic valve. Within a month, I found out that I had a bicuspid with severe stenosis and mild regurgitation. My fiance and I have been planning a wedding in the Dominican Republic for January 2012, but this recent discovery means that I have to have a valve replacement ASAP in order to fully recover. My fiance and I would also like to have children in the future, so I would like to get a porcine valve.
