I'm 37 years old and have been struggling with dizziness for awhile but my doctors could never figure out what was causing it . I have Lupus and clotting disorders that have caused mini strokes in the past so I always make sure to get checked out when things don't feel right. Finally my cardiologist found I have moderate Mitral valve regurgitation and stenosis . They also called it a rheumatic valve. My surgery for a mechanical valve replacement is on March 30th. Dr. Shemin believes it is best to do full open heart surgery and replace with a mechanical valve since I am already on blood thinners . I'm really praying for the best outcome as I have a 7 year old son to come home to.💙🙏
