About Me

Preparing for surgery... it's been a year in the making with all the necessary tests being completed to get the whole story. I am still calm but with my surgery date just over 3 weeks away I am finding I am thinking about it more and more. I want to make sure I make it as easy for my husband as possible when I first get home from the hospital. I have purchased enough comfortable clothing (button up front tops and Pj's) that he won't be doing a ton of laundry. I am going to try and fill up the freezer with easy meals that can just go in the oven for dinner. Hopefully I will have some appetite to eat. I have also been told to rent a geriatric recliner that has a lot more settings than a regular recliner so I am looking into that. I understand that lying flat is not comfortable at the beginning. Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks for listening!
