I am a mother of three children, two are still living. My youngest was murdered on January 16, 2012, she was 2 weeks into her 21st year and my youngest, her name was Meagan. It knocked me to my knees and I wasn't sure I was going to get through it. Up until then I thought my first heart valve surgery was the worst thing to go through. I learned quickly that isn't anything close to the truth. My middle daughter, Ashlee was pregnant with my first grandchild. He was the only thing that kept me hanging on by my fingernails while grief got the better of me. I am now proud to sat that I am the Nona of a perfect seven year-old grandson. I went through a hard divorce a year and a half ago. We had been together for 24 years. Recently, I met and married a wonderful man. He is truly the type of good person you hear about but never meet in real life. I will admit I was dealt a hard hand and did not believe in fairy tales. I found out there are Prince Charmings out there.
