I noticed my blood pressure was going up in nursing school around age 28, but I thought it was the stress. On Nov 3, 1989 I collapsed at work with sudden high blood pressure that left me very exhausted. Had to stop work. 2004 I had my first heart cath. Showed 30 % blockage 2009 Echo showed Aortic valve problem Since 2011 I've had several echo's and am going for one Nov 3 2014 . I developed palpitations and noticed some confusion/ slowness in the last month at times I can't stand them. I will wear a halter monitor as well. They come and go.
