About Me

I had an Echocardiogram done in August 2014. I was told that my aortic valve is at 0.9cm. My doctor expressed a sense of urgency so we have scheduled an angiogram for October 2, 2014 - then we can see how bad it really is. Afterward I am sure we will schedule a valve replacement surgery ASAP. I am anxious to have this procedure done. I also have a mitral valve prolapse which I have known about since I was 12 years old and am now 67 - it has never limited me from any activities. He may take look at it during the angiogram procedure. I recently read Adam Pick's book and feel confident about what is to happen. As soon as I have some firm results and dates, I will update this. I also have stage 3 chronic kidney disease which at the moment is low-moderate. My nephrologist has cleared me for the angiogram with contrast. So onward and upward. I have added to my story in a new post on May 6, 2023. Having had a CABG in January. Please feel to read it and comment. Thanks.
