I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis a decade ago. Seeing I was planning on retiring sometime in 2026 I looked into hip replacement surgery. During pre surgery exams it was determined that I have severe aortic stenosis with a bi cusp valve. I made appointment to have the valve replaced and on 09-24-2025. Dr. John Crouch and his team at St.Lukes in Milwaukee did an excellent job. Was able to replace with a bovine valve doing a mini incision, 4"-5". After 1 day in ICU and 2 more in a regular room I was ready to come home. 9 days later am sore but getting better each day. Stay strong my friends.
