I had been feeling more tired than usual after many of my frequent business trips which have been a necessary part of my busy job, but it wasn't until I went for a minor knee surgery pre-op exam that my heart murmur was noticed. I was sent to a cardiologist right away and he made it clear that I had a serious condition that needed surgery. I went for the pre-op appointment and catherization this past week and everything suddenly became very real. I want it all to be over. I have one more day to prepare.
