Waiting for surgery to replace aortic valve, damage caused by radiotherapy received for Hodgkins disease 27 years ago. I didn't really have any syptoms a bit breathless walking up stairs but put it down to me being unfit. A chance doctors appointment to get a repeat prescription just 7 weeks ago identified a heart murmur which i didn't know i had which has led to this rollercoaster ride. Moderate to Severe Aortic stenosis. Since diagnosis i am more concious of the symptoms which i had previously ignored....breathlessness when i have been talking for a while and a few dizzy spells and migraines.
