This was a surprise to get in the mail this weekend, who knew the FDA requires devices to be registered and tracked but makes sense. Guess I'll put this in my wallet next to my AARP card and my Epic season ski pass. รฐลธหย

I got my final one, weird to have it for both TAVR and PM.

Unrelated but youรขโฌโขre in Miami and have an Epic Ski pass? This is interesting, Iรขโฌโขll have to likely get a mechanical valve in 15-20 years

Ha I'm in DC so ski slopes are much closer than Miami. Just did the surgery in Miami.

Is that one of the Tetons?
Mountains in Nepal around Everest, but I do hope to get to the Tetons some day if the heart holds out!
Amazing shot Erik! Did you know about Veronika Meyer? https://www.heart-valve-surgery.com/heart-surgery-blog/2007/12/03/veronika-meyer-at-mount-everest-peak-after-heart-valve-replacement/
This was my group backpacking along the Teton Crest Trail three years ago before I had my problems with the mitral valve. Now that I had my valve repaired I should be able to do things like this again.
Good luck with your research Erik. Lots of good surgeons to choose from. Options are patient specific , no one size fits all.
Sounds good thanks for the thoughts
Nice Neal thanks for sharing
