Janet, Best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had a mitral valve repair June 18th. It is a relief once the surgery is done. Let me know if I can answer any questions regarding post surgery experience. Take care, Theresa

Thanks Theresa. Just thinking about what to pack. I'll be relieved tomorrow when the pre-op workup is done. I sure don't want to wait any longer to get fixed.

I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery. The waiting time is a very hard part of the journey. Try to focus on a positive outcome and trust the surgeon and ICU team to take care of the rest.
