I agree with Ruth. I've had 2 mechanical valves (aortic and mitral) for almost 10 years now (since age 53). I eat everything in moderation. I have not changed my diet at all and don't think about what I eat. I get my INR checked about once a month. It... Read more.

Hi Ben, as you had Robotic MVR, I'd imagine your recovery will be a bit quicker then mine, so you may well start feeling much better after 4 weeks and am going to wait a couple more weeks. I guess it depends what your job is. If it's not too... Read more.
Hey James...so far so good. Only problem I'm noticing is incision pain and lighthededness upon standing from a seated or lying position. This is only my first week post op. Hopefully things will improve next week
