Thanks Tom. I'm not having any pumphead issues either. My reading seemed to imply that if you have coronary disease, you are at higher risk for cognitive issues from the pump likely due to presumed present cerebrovascular disease. Glad you are doing well. As to the staying calm, I am... Read more.

In my experience many of the "issues" happen much much later (months, years) and yes have to do with the pump effect as well as the myriad secondary issues plus new meds plus new life that occur after OHS. This doesn't happen in the first weeks.

I hope that you continue to progress to more energy, normal heart rhythm and less pain and itchiness. Home is so much better than the hospital! Go easy on yourself! you've been through a lot.

Thanks Roseline, not feeling so athletic at this time and am definitely following MD orders :). Are you ready for Monday? I was so surprised by how calm I stayed pre-op, not sure where it comes from, but hope it's true for you and the others upcoming!
