Hi Divya! How are you doing? I think you're about 2-Â½ months out from your surgery. Are you doing Cardiac Rehab? Is your voice back to normal yet? How do you feel overall?

Ditto! Hope things are getting better, Divya. It takes a lot of patience and diligence . Hang-in-there and get second opinions if things are not moving forward that well.â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

Hi Daisy, Deena, I am doing well. My voice has almost returned to normal for all practical purposes. At the Laryngologist visit couple of weeks ago, my vocal cords were moving significantly though there is some sluggishness. The ENT has said that I don't need any intervention at this point... Hi Daisy and Deena -Recovery is going very well. My stamina is pretty good. Still limiting exercise to walking since surgeon wanted me to do only walking for 6 weeks, but I certainly feel capable of starting some more vigorous exercise, but will hold off for another week :) Voice... Read more.

Thanks for the update, divya. Getting there and hopefully you can enter cardiac rehab soon. Makes a big difference, physically and mentally. I did a bit of reading re: laryngeal nerve being injured. Were the physicians able to tell you if it was a partial tear or more than that?... Read more.

They think my swallowing issue is resolved and that my throat is able to not have a gap while swallowing. So that's a big relief about not having to worry about pneumonia. The doctor... Read more.

Deena, Yes, I am scheduled for cardiac rehab from June 10th. Regarding the nerve injury, the doctor din't have any special insight on the extent of the injury. He said that knowing the extent of injury or recovery doesn't change my treatment options clinically except for if the nerve is... Read more.
