Hi Delise, hope you are recovering well! I would like to ask you a question. My mom did mitral valve replacement surgery too, 9 days ago. 2 days after surgery she started to have fever. It goes up to 38 and then goes down to 37.2 by itself without medication.... Read more.

Hi, Julia. Thankfully, I never had fever. However, we measure our temps in Fahrenheit, not Celsius, so I was not familiar with the temps you mention. In looking up the conversions, though, 38C = 100.5F. While in the hospital, I was told that any temp over 100.5F would be considered... Read more.
