You can do it. I'm 8 months post Aortic Replacement. It can be done and I like many others are proof of the wonders of modern medicine, some personal grit and loving support from family. My best advice is to walk as soon as you can (I know it hurts... Read more.

I had the same sort of surgery you are having just three weeks ago. I am walking over two miles a day and haven't taken any meds stronger than tylenol since my second day after surgery. You are in good hands and will do very well. Good luck.
