Dana, best of luck to you. I had an aortic valve replacement this past December at the same hospital and with the same doctors that you have. I have been very pleased. I would be happy to share experiences if you would like.

I was diagnosed with aortic stenosis and the next day I was in the hospital, surgery the day after that. Surgery was really tough but I had little pain. I was 68 then and now it is a year and half later. I was surprised how long recovery can be.... Read more.
