Thank you so much everyone 💗 My surgery went well(June16, 2023). But I stayed in the hospital for 19 days 😪due to I needed a pacemaker (was implanted on July 3rd and I was discharged on July 4th!) was very hard for me, but I am doing very well! Working,... Read more.

Everything was well with my first appointment with Dr Adams and Dr Patel @ Mount Sinai hospital. They set up my surgery-mitral valve stenosis to June 15th!

Going to Mount Sinai for my first appointment with Dr Adams! My diagnosis is Mitral valve stenosis severe

Totally understand your anxiety, since I felt that way also about my own “adventureâ€. Like Klara said, you can have confidence in your doctor and care. You can get through this!
It's normal to feel nervous especially if the diagnosis is a surprise. Trust the doctors. Godspeed.
