Just watched the great interview with Dr. El-Hamamsy about the Ross procedure. In 2017 I had my aortic valve replaced in an open heart surgery with a bovine valve. 3 years later it failed and had a bovine TAVR. If I need another replacement is a Ross procedure a possibility?... Read more.

Mike, As with all patient situations, I encourage you to discuss this with your doctor when/if the time comes for a "tune-up". That said, I do believe it is possible to have a Ross Procedure performed IF your biological aortic cow valve needs a replacement in the future. Again... Always... Read more.

Good question ;I donâ€™t know if you can have TAVR in a TAVR. I am sure someone is studying that question right now, though.

The TAVR was completed Tuesday, June 23, 2020 and I came home yesterday. I actually felt better yesterday. Today I've had periods of feeling lightheaded again and my BP has been fluctuating all day. Started out this morning at 5:20 at 127/93 80BPM, went down to 96/75 82BPM at 8:20am,... Read more.
