I had AVR in 1990, complete heart block in 2015, aortic anuerism surgery in 2016, 3 cardioversions and 2 ablations. I am finally in rhythm. But, I just found out I now have severe tricuspid insufficiency. I have a virtual appt. on July 12 to see if I am able... Read more.

I made it to the 6th month and am doing quite well! I had an aneurysm repair and while we thought the aortic valve would also be replaced - the surgeon felt the 26 year old valve still looked good as new! I did have the usual complications - 11... Read more.

5 month anniversary for my rather large aneurysm, possible AVR replacement and maze procedure. Aneurysm is fixed and Dr. Speir (Inova Heart Center) said the valve was still looking like new. I had lots of minor complications and after a cardioversion - my heart went right back into sync and... Read more.
