How long were you told to wait before immersing (swimming, spa, etc)?

I was to keep from bath in lieu of shower until scabs were gone. I think it was around 6 weeks. Didn't swim till months later b/c of the season.

How long did you all continue to use uour heart pillow (or did you) while in car?

I never got an official heart pillow. But I still use a small non-heart pillow over my chest 2 years after OHS.
I wedged it between me and the seatbelt for about 8 weeks.
I used mine for about 6 weeks after surgery. I didn't use it after I was released to drive.
