Just got back from my 3 week 4 day post op visit with my surgeon. He has cleared me to drive and has indicated to me I can go back to work when I am up to it. All this coincides on one of the best nights sleep I have had since my surgery. My sternum is still a bit sore and my right shoulder has a kink due to how I have been sleeping all in all I have little to complain about. I start Cardio rehab next week. I am targeting a return to work on the 15th. I a super excited about all the good news and I am anxious to share it with everyone. This site ......and everyone associated with it has provided very much needed support. For a few minutes today I started taking this for granted ....like when the surgeon said I can drive. I truly have a new outlook on life I still think the medical staff that "fixed" me are miracle workers. I am so grateful to them. Again thank you adam and all for your thoughts and prayers.

On 8-18 I had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve and I also had a thoracic aneurysm (5.3) repaired. I am off all pain meds and feeling pretty good . I am struggling low blood pressure. Many of my readings are in the 95/ 80's ,60' , and 50's. I am very grateful for Adams book and website.
