Hello all.. I'm still having shortness of breath which has gotten worse and still no answers in sight. I had an angiogram which showed my heart vessels did not have any blockage. I have had a PFT test, an Immunoglobin E test which was mildly high and a bronchial challenge... Read more.
I am sorry you are still having issues with the shortness of breath. It sounds like you have done all the right consultations. Have you had a pulmonary /cardiology consult from a totally different doctor or group? I really hope you get some answers soon!
I wish I had the answers, but know I’ve experienced the same, and I’m 5 years out from my surgery for deacon graft for my aneurysm. I was fine before surgery... but have fought the same symptoms as you since after. So frustrating! I’m so sorry... just know I understand... Read more.
Hi Gina, hoping you find an answer to your issue soon. Will keep you in my prayers for a good resolution. God bless you

Hello, First off... I’m so grateful for this community, it helps me realize I’m not alone in my confusion and journey. It has been 4 years since my last update... I have moderate AS. When I was first officially diagnosed in 2014 my cardiologist told me I could climb Mt.... Read more.

I agree with what Mike said about a second opinion. Your symptoms sound a LOT like my life in the hot summer just before my surgery. I couldn't walk across a parking lot. I needed a nap when I got home form work, and still slept a normal night sleep.... Read more.
Hi Gina, have they had you wear a holter monitor - a sort of portable ekg for a day or 2? It sounds kind of like the afib I got before my repair - the inhalers might likely set it off. I agree with the 2nd opinion...my cardiologist is with... Read more.
Hi Gina, you sound exactly like me prior to my bicuspid aortic valve replacement. I thought for years mine was asthma getting worse, but it was actually my heart. It was to the critical point of stenosis before I found out I had a heart problem. I am also a... Read more.
I agree with our other friends that I'd want another cardiologist to take a close look at things.
Second opinions are a good thing. We have to take control of our health and be our own advocates. We know our body better than anyone. Hope you can get answers soon.
