About Me

On October 2, 2015 I entered the ER with a migraine and they found much more wrong. After a week of poking and prodding and testing. I was diagnosed with mitral valve regurgitation, congestive heart failure and pulmonary edema and my left ventricle wall was weak. I was shocked to say the least. I was 38 years old, this could not be happening to me, I thought. Well it was, it did and it still is. So I've finally, after a second and third opinion, decided to go thru with the surgery. Hopefully, the surgeon will be able to repair and not replace, but in case the latter happens I have chosen the pig valve. I have about a million questions that I google daily, I am not afraid, but a little nervous.
