About Me

I was diagnosed with a heart murmur in my mid twenties and went for an echocardiogram every two years after that. Nothing after that until two years ago at age 56 when they diagnosed me with arotic stenosis and a bicuspid valve. In mid april I was doing my usual daily run and got less than a block when i became short of breath and had severe chest pains and tightness. Went to the ER where they admitted me for further testing and they determined I had severe aortic stenosis. So my Cardiologist scheduled an angiogram which confirmed the severe stenosis was referred to a surgeon and had a CT, an ultrasound of the Cardiod artery and another Cardio. and now scheduled for valve replacement. It sucks when you are very active being grounded for everything except walking.
