About Me

.....it all started with me having pneumonia in March 15, being sick with the pneumonia, I had trouble breathing. The breathing difficulties stayed with me until I finally went to see my Cardiologist on the 7th of May. They ran an Echo and found that I had an arrhythmia, and I was going into afib. I remember going to the gym before work on the treadmill and noticing my heart rate was up to 170 and I wasn't pushing it. Dr. put me on Diltiazem and Xarelto. I feel allot better now I can breathe without tiring. On the 15th they were going to do a heart conversion, but found the damaged valves and a clot behind the heart wall. So that didn’t take place. On the 18th they did a heart catheter and found no blockages. This will be my 2nd major surgery. I had lung cancer, upper right lobe and 4 ribs removal; this was done in Oct 2010. They told me that, open heart will not be as bad as Thoracic surgery. I'm not sure how the pain will be at my chest, and I'm not good in enduring any kind of pain.
