An issue was heard as an adolescent, but was not diagnosed until I was 28 years old. I was told I had about 20 years on the current valve and would need surgery. After not really taking care of myself, it was discovered in February that I was in congestive heartt failure. Major life change, then every test imaginable and we are going to take care of the primary issue and secondary ones as well. My only brother passed unexpectedly on May 16th at 49...this is pushing me to push forward and see where I end up.
