Diagnosed with severe Aortic Stenosis with a Bicuspid Aortic Valve. Chose to have a mechanical valve placed. Very pleased with my surgeon and hospital choice. Now post op and feel back to normal, almost! Battling some fatigue still, but still able to work full time and follow our 3 children around with their busy schedules. Thankful to have made it through the surgery with the best caretakers - my family and the caretakers at hospital and clinics that I have been at over the past year. I have a new outlook on life, and really am filled with gratitude on surviving the surgery and recovery.
