Hi - I was diagnosed with Aortic Bicuspid valve, with regurgitation. In 2023 by Stenosis status was moderate but has progressed slight to borderline of moderate/severe. It’s time to replace the valve and looks like I’ll need the SAVR. Looking to go with Resilia valve based on studies and great outcome, longevity. Like everyone here - really no symptoms but doctor says time is here to replace it because ascending part of aortic valve is enlarged. To prevent further damage or aneurysm would be best now. He may still need to replace it to be on precautionary side. Nervous but ready to get this repaired and live normal life with restrictions in meantime obviously. Stumbled across this website in my research and I can only say good things about this site!! No date yet but will find out soon. Next week or two.
