Kimberly's Profile

This is really Aidan's story. Aidan is my son, and is a fraternal twin. He was born with Aortic Stenosis. At the age of 8 wks old, he had a balloon catheter (valvoplasty) procedure to open his Aortic valve. At age six, he had a heart cath procedure for exploratory reasons, to get a better view of his valve and measurements of pressures. At age 8, after his yearly check-up with EKG and Echo, it was determined that he needed his Aortic Valve replaced. He now has a St. Jude Mechanical valve and is doing well.
