diagnosed with a heart murmur in Nov 2017 at age 54 ..lead to discovery of stentoic valve and ascending aortic aneurysm not surgical candidate yet but did have 2 stents placed in RCA/diagonal ...all good in 2018 had 2 echo-cardiograms and 2 ct scans all values stay same except I get 2 more stents in RCA...1 set of tests in May 2019 all good...Aug of 2019 I get a high PSA score...Prostate cancer Gleason 7(4/3)...off to Hopkins we go... surgery best option...scheduled for Feb 17, 2020 with Momahad Allaf.....many consider him to be the best in the world....Hopkins request test within 30 days of surgery including a new echo-cardiogram....(Houston we got a problem) valve is severely stentonic . I'm a medical device rep for 30 years and pretty much new the game plan and set the wheels in motion very quickly...got diagnosis on Friday Jan 31 saw surgeon on Feb 4 scheduled surgery for 2/13! Had a bicuspid aortic valve which was severely diseased... Pig valve used with ascending aortic aneurysm repaired with sleeve...2 bypassed done......1 nite ICU 3 days in room then home....doing better each day....Prostate removal in May now!
