Hello! I had a aortic mechanical valve replacement at the age of 46 years old. It was because of a bicupsid aortic valve, which I never knew I had until right before my valve replacement. It was shocking for me, because in 46!years of my life I never had any heart problems nor took any blood pressure medication.
