I was recently diagnosed with severe tricuspid valve regurgitation and moderate mitral valve regurgitation. I am still in the process of coming to terms with all this and I hope to get an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic for evaluation. This website was recommended to me as a source of support. It’s now 2 1/2 years later and I am 2+ years postop for mitral and tricuspid valve annuloplasties. My doctor at the Cleveland Clinic decided to do the annuloplasties rather than valve replacements. I had a great experience at the Cleveland Clinic; they’re the best! Was out on the cardiac step down unit in less than 24 hours after surgery! Of the 3 open heart surgeries I’ve had, this was by far the easiest. Still ticking and doing great!
