Send John a NoteAbout Me
I had no idea that my Aortic valve was a problem. I was totally ignorant that my valve was calcifying and working quite hard to pump blood on a consistent basis through my heart. I'd had a bad hip and I needed a physical before I could get my hip replaced, I went to my primary care doctor who was concerned about the loudness of my heart murmur, which I have have had all my life, and he sent me to have a echo cardio gram which turned up the stenosis. I needed to have my valve replaced, I like Mount Auburn Hospital(It is Harvard University's teaching hospital) and felt very comfortable with Dr Birjinuick so I ended up having the procedure done there.
