Send Jim a NoteAbout Me
I am 61 years young. Always pretty active, hiking, climbing, golf etc. Out of the blue on April 18, 2017 a significant murmur was discovered at an annual physical. EKG pretty normal. Echo showed severe mitral valve regurgitation, posterior leaflet prolapse (flailing). Oh goody.
Good news is my heart is in good shape and it appears to the cardio doc and surgeon that the valve "just broke". Thus I am a good candidate for repair vs. replacement.
