Glenn's Profile

I was born with a bicuspid aorta with mild regurgitation, although it was not discovered until 1998. After many regular checkups and echos, in Dec 2012 the news came that my condition has worsened with severe regurgitation and an enlarged Aorta. Since then I have been on "watchful waiting" with my local cardiologist until I became more symptomatic and surgical intervention needed. My research during this time of "watchful waiting" (which included reading Adam's book) and referrals have led me to Dr. Stelzer and the Ross Procedure this February.
