Hari has bicuspid valve. Gradiant pressure has reached to 120 now. So we have 3 months for decision of surgery. As it was a school vacation of Hari, this period of year was right for the surgery. We choose ROSS Procedure againts Mechanical Valve Replacement due to Anticoagulant therapy. Hope Hari will enjoy quick, comfortable and ever lasting recovery. Pray for him. On 27/5/15 surgery was planned.just before surgery a team of doctors meet.Then ..A team of Pediatric and Adult Cardiac Surgeon and cardiologists have jointly decided to wait for Hari to get him achieve his optimum growth. Hari is not having any physical complaints except Easily getting fatigue. His pressure gradient right now is somewhere around 120. Team advised is to go for Aortic Valve Replacement on achieving adult heart size. For that to buy sometime from increasing gradient, they advised us to go for balloon as gradient rise more. So we postponed our surgery. We also choose AVR on ROSS considering Early Reoperation seem in ROSS. ROSS needs resurgery at around 5-8 yrs after Mechanical Valve needs to be changed at around 15 yrs.
