I'm currently on the road to aortic valve surgery, waiting to have an angiogram and MRI in the next two weeks to find out if anything else is wrong with my heart. I'm up & down on the anxiety scale. I'm asymptomatic, as far as I can tell, so I sometimes question my surgery decision even though the echo numbers, 2 cardiologists and 2 surgeons say it's time to get it done. So, I'm going forward with some trepidation.
