I was diagnosed with bicuspid aortic valve when I was about 7 years old. It really did not effect my life, never held me back. I have always been very active, exercising, working, taking care of my 2 beautiful children. But now at the age of 38, I have started to develope symptoms that are effecting my daily activities. I will be scheduling my surgery this coming week and am very anxious.
