My AR valve was replaced on 26-Dec-2014. I was consistently having high blood pressure, my doctor advised me to meet a cardiologist, and then it was discovered that I have a Bicuspid Aortic Valve. Aortic Regurgitation and Aortic Aneurysm was also discovered and I was advised AR valve replacement as soon as possible. Preparing myself mentally for the surgery was really a tough task and I often tried to distract myself so that I do not think of my surgery. I was so nervous when they took me to operation theater, but the doctors and support staff helped me calm down by talking to me and distracting. And now its 3 months after the operation, I am back to almost normal. I am even driving my car to work :-)
