About Me

At 1995, when I was born, I was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot. Then were two operations. During those operations my surgeon noticed that my pulmonary valve not normal but it's in good condition. So, he decided to save it and see how it'll grow. For 23 years everything was OK. Yes, I had a Pulmonary Regurgitation, but it was on the early stages. Last summer my surgeon told me that it's time for valve replasement, because regurgitation gets stronger. Then it was hard one year of preparations for the OHS. I went through the operation time with my family and friends. But in the post-op time you're spending a lot of time face to face with your problems, like when you can't stand up from bed by yourself and can't do some usual things. And also you have to go through this pain wich only you do feel. It was really hard. Tommorrow will be 5 months after my third operation, and it still feels not totally OK. The hardest part was that I was all alone and didn't know anyone who can understand me at all, because in Russia we don't have any groups for people after operations or something like that. And now I'm so happy to find this community.
