I am a 31 year old female. Recently my Echocardiogram showed Mitral regurgitation. I used to get chest pain and dizzy spells when I was younger. My symptoms have worsened to dizziness, fast erratic heart rate spikes just from walking around, signifacantly increased HR while sleeping, chest pain and extreme fatigue. I am scheduled to meet with a surgeon that I researched on heartvalvesurgery.com website. I am really hoping he can help me before this condition worsens. He is an amazing surgeon and I found so much information from him on this website. I would trust him fully if I go through with surgery. Thank you Adam for starting this website and helping people who need heart surgery find the best doctors! My biggest fears are the heart lung machine that is involve in heart surgery. I hope to research others stories and hope this will make me feel better about the outcome. I meet with the surgeon mid August and hope to get some good news about fixing my heart and to start a path to getting better and feeling normal.
