3 days after arriving home from the hospital.
I've been home just over a week. Feeling better each day. I hope your recovery goes well.

What are those 4 wounds below the vertical chest cut? I only had one "wide" (3/4" or so) wide cut in that area. Maybe they put multiple drainage tubes for different areas? I had some other tubes, infusions, etc in other areas incl. arm, neck, up my member, etc but... Read more.
@Robert -those are the incisions for pacer wires, chest tubes and other drainage tubes. Different surgeons use different incisions for these uses. My incisions are only 3 , resembling 2 eyes and a smile…
@Marie Myers, that "big pipe" I had was also for drainage from what I recall. But it was just one. I heard some people have multiple placed to different positions. And I also had the pacer wires. They kept zapping me until they adjusted it a bit better. I thought... Read more.
Yeah, I had 4 pipes draining and they all merged into a single larger tube that drained into a storage collection device so they could easily see and monitor how much is draining.
