WOW 3 years ago I had Mitral valve surgery at Mayo August 03/2016. It did a number on my body and I gained about 40 lbs in 2 years. Found out my metabolism slowed down , my male hormones changed but once that got sorted out I started getting back... Read more.

Hard to believe this is what I looked like 18 months ago. Time sure has flew by. Had my check up and Mitral valve repair is still intact and looking good. Still not happy with my workouts and some other small things to work on but I do feel great.... Read more.

Isn't everyone like a water balloon after heart surgery?

It is amazing how time flies once you've "recovered" from heart surgery. I say "recovered", because I don't know that we ever mentally recover from a life changing event such as heart surgery. Great to see that you're doing well.
