Hi Greg, my story is almost identical to yours, breathless 7 months ago, met cardiologist 2 months ago AVR this Friday. Now thankfully, happy with the choice of a bovine valve. Do you notice your valve at all?

I do not notice my bovine valve at all. I don't even think about it. I was symptomatic for about two years before I finally got surgery-in fact it was almost two years before I was diagnosed. Now that I'm healed I have more endurance than even two years before... Read more.
