Peloton Instructors Support Heart Valve Disease Patients!

While Peloton instructors are known for giving fun and empowering "shout-outs" during their fitness classes... I'm happy to flip-that-script and offer a shout-out to Ally Love, Emma Lovewell, Matt Wilpers, Robin Arzon, and the entire Peloton team for their support of our community!

What Happened at Peloton Studios New York?

On a recent trip, I was lucky to take a few cycling classes at Peloton Studios New York. After each class, I had a quick opportunity to meet the instructors. Given our health-centric communities, I took that time to share a little bit about HeartValveSurgery.com with the instructors. To show their support, Ally, Emma, Matt and Robin flashed you a "heart" in the pictures below.

Here's Ally Love after teaching a 30-minute EDM class. In addition to Peloton, you may recognize Ally from the Today Show and Netflix's new show, Dance 100.

Below is Emma Lovewell who just happened to be teaching my favorite, music-themed Peloton class... 1990's Rock! As you might recall, Emma recently gave a keynote speech at an American Heart Association event in Texas. Our community rallied around Emma's support of heart disease patients in this post that now has over 6,000 social media shares.

I was beyond lucky to join fitness guru, Matt Wilpers, for a Power Zone Training ride. This 45-minute ride was incredibly fun and incredibly tough with 26 intervals that peaked in Zone 6.

Matt made the ride a bit more fun when he gave an unexpected shout-out to me (aka HeartValveGuy) towards the end of the ride. (I could be wrong, but I think Matt gave a shout-out to every rider in the class. Very cool.)

Then, I traveled back in time for a 90s ride with the "Queen of Peloton", the one-and-only Robin Arzon. I have to admit... Robin is a fuel source for me. Anytime I need a physical, energetic and mental reset, I take one of Robin's classes.

While I have previously posted how and why Peloton has helped my family stay committed to a healthy lifestyle, there was something different about being in Peloton Studios New York that was downright fantastic.
