"Dr Victor Pretorius at UCSD in La Jolla is a great surgeon. Good communicator, caring and very proficient. Great results with Open Heart Surgery. Replaced very severely calcified Aortic valve with tissue valve, performed two bypass grafts after vein harvest from leg, and performed MAZE procedure for A-Fib. No blood transfusion was needed. Only minor pain during recovery. Recovery has been quick."
