"Dr. Mick was outstanding. She saved my life. I had endocarditis staphoritus which had destroyed my aortic and mitral valves and damaged the tricuspid. She did emergency surgery (to replace the aortic and mitral valves and repair the tricuspid) because my valve leakage was critical and without valve replacement the prognosis was I would not live.

After I was done in rehab, I traveled back to meet and say thanks to the people who cared for me and to meet Dr. Mick and to thank her (she gave me a big hug). I had some heart testing done (ultra sound I think) and they said it was the best valve replacement job they had ever seen. No leakage at all which they said was unusual.
